Daron lives in Durango, Colorado and is married with 3 children. He really enjoys the high quality of life a small mountain community affords.
Having worked in I/T for over 25 years, Daron has thoroughly enjoyed the fast past and constant change due to innovation in the technical fields associated with this profession. Seeing computing as a complimentary tool to our daily lives, he would like to expose the underpinnings of various technologies to those interested in expanding their technical knowledge.
Daron has worked as both a software developer and computing systems architect for some very large entities including the federal government, IBM, and Boeing. He is currently running his own software development company and has enjoyed creating applications utilizing modern design patterns and cloud technologies. The subjects of the various courses he teaches will revolve around tools and techniques he uses daily. He believes in life-long learning and hopes that his students enjoy the enthusiasm that he brings to the subjects he teaches.
